Pastor Gassman finished his formal education at Faith Theological Seminary near Philadelphia, Pa in the spring of 1969. He and his wife Beverly then moved to Morrow County to serve with the Ohio Bible Mission at Peniel Bible Camp near Chesterville. They have four daughters who are now married and with their husbands are serving the Lord in various fundamental Bible believing ministries. The Gassman’s began Morrow Bible Church, in 1983, as a church plant, which met in their home at Peniel. After moving from the Christian camping ministry, he has pastored the church in full time service. Building up Believers in their Christian faith is an important function of the local church. Our first commitment is their edification. They in turn are able to minister to others to the glory of God.
The outreach of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a vital ministry of our Church. We seek many ways to reach our community with this message. World-wide missions is a part of this outreach. We support a number of likeminded missionaries in various parts of the world. Mission services are regularly scheduled that we might be kept abreast of new mission outreaches.
Music is a gift from God! He puts a new song in the heart of the Believer that is distinct from the world around us. Thus, as a church, we seek to glorify God through music that lifts the spirit in exultation of Him. At the same time we seek to eliminate from our music that which is sensual, worldly, or exulting of man.
